Tommy Gollick and Tom Baker Win PBA Regional Tournaments Over Weekend

Sam Maccarone led qualifying of the PBA East Region Ebonite/Fort Meade Open with a score of 1887 (+287, 235.87 Average), but lost early in the first round of matchplay. Tommy Gollick came from the 5th spot to finish with a 7-3 overall record to win the tournament. He defeated Jim Tomek, Jr. in the finals. You can see the full results at PBA.com

Tom Baker led qualifying of the PBA South Tournament of Champions with a score of 1828 (+228, 228.5 Average). Baker finished matchplay with a perfect 6-0 record to win the tournament with a final score of 3343 (3163 + 180 bonus pins). Christopher Collins (3097) and Matt Frieberg (3053) finished 2nd and 3rd.
