Harry Sullins wins PBA Senior World Championship
In the semifinal round, Hugh Miller defeated Tom Baker and Harry Sullins defeated Brian Brazeau. Both matches went the full length of 7 games. In the finals, Harry Sullins beat High Miller, 222-192.
In winning the PBA Senior World Championship, Sullins earned his first career PBA Senior title.
PBA World Championship Results
The finals are set for the PBA World Championship. The four finalists are Wes Malott, Rhino Page, Bill O’Neill, and Tom Smallwood.
In the Women’s World Championship, the finalists are Kelly Kulick and Shannon Pluhowsky. The finalists in the Senior World Championship are Hugh Miller and Harry Sullins.
The Women’s and Senior World Championship title matches will be contested Saturday at noon for delayed telecast to open the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour season on ESPN on Sunday, Oct. 25. The men’s finals will be contested live on ESPN on Dec. 13 at Northrock Lanes in Wichita, Kan.
PBA World Championship Qualifying
Qualifying has finished for the PBA World Championship.
Leading the men is Wes Malott with a score of 4195 (+595, 233.06 Average). The men are taking the top 40 to match play. The cut score is 3844 (+244, 213.56 Average).
Kelly Kulick is leading the women with a score of 4191 (+591, 232.83 Average). The women are take the top 20 to match play. The cut score is 3717 (+117, 206.5 Average).
In the senior tournament, Ron Mohr is leading with a score of 4018 (+418, 223.22 Average). The seniors are taking the top 36 to match play. The senior cut score is 3586 (-14, 199.22 Average).
The top 40 men, 20 women, and 36 seniors will bowl the “casher’s round” tomorrow (Thursday) morning to determine seeding for matchplay which will take place on Thursday night and Friday.
