Only 2 months and 27 days until the 2009 – 2010 PBA season resumes… Being a Michigander, I happen to be a fan of the World Series of Bowling. I am not a fan of there being a 3 month gap in between the WSOB and the next tournament. There also happens to be a 3 month gap in between the round of 8 for the PBA World Championship and the TV finals, which are being held in Wichita, Kansas, 977 miles away from the rest of the tournament in Detroit, Michigan (according to google maps). I understand that the PBA is saving tons of money in production costs (From what I hear, somewhere around $3 million). However, I don’t understand the reason for the big break. What do you think? Do I have a valid point or am I just grumpy because I got excited about bowling starting up and now I have to wait? I’ll be back soon with more bowling news. Let me know what you think so far.
