National Collegiate Team Match Games Day 1 Results
After day 1 of the National Collegiate Team Match Games, Wichita State University has taken the lead for both the men and women. Day 1 consisted of six team games on Friday. Day 2 takes place on Saturday and will consist of five 4-game blocks of baker games.
Wichita State men took the early lead with a first day score of 7161 (6261 + 900 bonus pins). Wichita State was led by Jake Peters (1st, 1375, +175, 229.17 Average) and Ronnie Sparks Jr. (2nd, 1296). Lindenwood University currently has teams in second and third. Their “black” team has a score of 6715 and their “gold” team has a score of 6453. Wichita State women hold the lead with a score of 6905 (6055 + 850 bonus pins). Wichita State was led by Daniela Alvarado (3rd, 1240) and Jazreel Tan (5th, 1227). The University of Maryland – Eastern Shore is currently in second with a score of 6590. UMES was led by Anggie Ramirez (1st, 1273, +73, 212.17 Average) and Maria Rodriguez (2nd, 1247). Pikeville College is currently in third (6476), led by Jennifer Wright (4th, 1230).
