Roto Grip Defiant
Roto Grip is releasing the Defiant. This great new ball from Roto Grip is being released on January 10, 2012.
Starting at the center, the “GUTS”, the new Paragon™ core features contours designed to help expand the RG planes of the ball. This unique elliptical shape defines predictability of axis migration and allows you to perfectly match up your ball reaction to the condition at hand. Strong midlane roll and a HUGE continuous, sweeping hook on the backend! This is a serious technological advancement.
Moving on to the shell, the “GRIT”, we’ve developed a new MicroBite™ coverstock that is stronger and more textured than the competition. Microtechnology, the use of extremely-small structured additives down to a millionth of a meter, makes this possible. When finished with 3000-grit Abralon®, this new MicroBite shell creates friction where others just cannot!
And finally, looking at the “GRIME”, the designated oil pattern and lane condition, the Defiant is sure to handle even the heaviest amounts of oil. Today’s lane oils have more solids than ever before, making the lanes very slick at times. With the new Defiant, no more worrying about heavy oil often found on tournament shots! Roto Grip has you covered.
Roto Grip Defiant – $154.99
Roto Grip Critical Theory, Bandit and Outlaw
Roto Grip has released the Critical Theory, the Bandit, and the Outlaw. The Crown line and the Theory balls have been proven time and time again, as I have seen high score after high score with the Theory and Infinite Theory on many types of oil patterns. With a stronger coverstock, the Critical Theory should have a similar reaction to the Theory and Infinite Theory, but get into an earlier roll and will roll a little stronger than its predecessors. The Bandit and the Outlaw are the latest in Roto Grip’s Sword line of bowling balls. The Bandit and Outlaw will be a great complement to each other. The Outlaw will give you a smoother arc down the lane, while the Bandit will give you more of a skid-flip reaction.
Roto Grip Critical Theory – $134.95
Roto Grip Bandit – $114.95
Roto Grip Outlaw – $114.95

Roto Grip Rising Star is Available Now
Roto Grip’s intent with the new Rising Star was to create a ball that works well on medium-light oil patterns for bowlers of different skill levels and styles. With the benchmark-type symmetrical core shape, the original Dark Star™ was the cornerstone of the Shield line in 2010, and the new Rising Star will fit the same parameters and perform even better.
To increase total hook as compared with the Dark Star, the Ultimate Vision™ hybrid coverstock is a must for this new release. It creates a smooth glide through the heads with ample bite on the dry boards without being over-sensitive. And with a 1500-grit polished finish, the new Rising Star is sure to raise the bar.
A journey to the center of the ball will reveal the new Neutron™ core as the power source. The Neutron core’s medium RG- medium differential shape is based on the concept started with the original Photon™ core utilized in the Dark Star. But you’ll find an even lower RG and higher differential in the heavier weights. So look for more motion out of the Rising Star with all the benefits of a hybrid coverstock.
As you rise to the top with this new Roto Grip release, you’ll quickly see why it earned the name Rising Star!
Roto Grip Rising Star – $84.99
Roto Grip Infinite Theory is Available Now
Roto Grip’s successor to the Theory had some big shoes to fill. Roto Grip chose to pair the new Triliptic Core with the Insight Hybrid Reactive Coverstock when they designed the new Infinite Theory. The Infinite Theory comes highly polished to float effortlessly through the heads, but with just touch of Abralon you will also reap the benefits of a solid. The newest ball in the Crown line will be a great complement to the rest of the balls in this line.
Roto Grip Infinite Theory – $132.99
