Roto Grip Critical Theory, Bandit and Outlaw

Roto Grip has released the Critical Theory, the Bandit, and the Outlaw. The Crown line and the Theory balls have been proven time and time again, as I have seen high score after high score with the Theory and Infinite Theory on many types of oil patterns. With a stronger coverstock, the Critical Theory should have a similar reaction to the Theory and Infinite Theory, but get into an earlier roll and will roll a little stronger than its predecessors. The Bandit and the Outlaw are the latest in Roto Grip’s Sword line of bowling balls. The Bandit and Outlaw will be a great complement to each other. The Outlaw will give you a  smoother arc down the lane, while the Bandit will give you more of a skid-flip reaction.

Roto Grip Critical Theory – $134.95

Roto Grip Bandit – $114.95

Roto Grip Outlaw – $114.95

DV8 has released the Too Reckless. Finished with a High Gloss Polish, the Too Reckless projects easily through the front part of the lane, revving hard on the backend to create a very strong and continuous motion that drives through the pins on medium to light lane conditions.

Simply put, this ball is amazing.

The DV8 Manifesto

300 isn’t just a number. It is our destination. Shouting at a ball WILL make it strike more. Nothing is as satisfying as hurling dangerously heavy spheres at stationary objects—and watching X’s fill the frames. You know it, we know it. So here’s to the ballers. The lane dwellers. The alley cats. And a new breed rising from the lanes. We are DV8. Tonight we Bowl.

Brunswick Damage

POWRKOIL™ COVERSTOCK
The PowrKoil 18 coverstock is a proven performer in the bowling industry. Aggressive in the oil and strong off the dry, PowrKoil 18 is a perennial favorite among all styles of bowlers. The Damage uses a new, larger pearl additive that creates more vivid colors and provides added length and backend reaction.

CORE
The Damage incorporates a new High RG performance core that provides easy length through the heads and mid-lane while maintaining axis rotation for a strong continuous backend motion.

BALL MOTION
With its high gloss fi nish, the Damage will provide excellent length with a quick response to friction at the breakpoint. The Damage is the highest rated breakpoint shape ball at the Advanced Performance price point from Brunswick and will match up on medium to dry lane conditions for a wide range of bowling styles.

REACTION SETUP
The Damage can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for symmetric bowling balls.

LIGHTWEIGHT ENGINEERING
The unique core shape of each Brunswick ball is used for weights from 14 to 16 pounds. This approach to lightweight ball engineering provides bowlers with consistent ball reaction characteristics across this weight range. The same drilling instructions can be used for 12- and 13-pound balls. This is because Brunswick uses a generic core shape with an RG differential that is close enough to the 14-16 pound shape.

Roto Grip Rising Star is Available Now

Roto Grip’s intent with the new Rising Star was to create a ball that works well on medium-light oil patterns for bowlers of different skill levels and styles. With the benchmark-type symmetrical core shape, the original Dark Star™ was the cornerstone of the Shield line in 2010, and the new Rising Star will fit the same parameters and perform even better.

To increase total hook as compared with the Dark Star, the Ultimate Vision™ hybrid coverstock is a must for this new release. It creates a smooth glide through the heads with ample bite on the dry boards without being over-sensitive. And with a 1500-grit polished finish, the new Rising Star is sure to raise the bar.

A journey to the center of the ball will reveal the new Neutron™ core as the power source. The Neutron core’s medium RG- medium differential shape is based on the concept started with the original Photon™ core utilized in the Dark Star. But you’ll find an even lower RG and higher differential in the heavier weights. So look for more motion out of the Rising Star with all the benefits of a hybrid coverstock.

As you rise to the top with this new Roto Grip release, you’ll quickly see why it earned the name Rising Star!
