In a somewhat embarrassing, but proud moment, Pete Weber showed his intensity while winning his 5th PBA US Open title. Weber defeated Michael Fagan in the final match, and did not hold back any excitement while becoming the first bowler to win 5 US Open titles.

I know this isn’t bowling related, but I am so excited that it is such a beautiful day outside that I couldn’t help but write about it!  At least it is here in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  It’s been slowly warming up for the last few weeks and it looks like today is the warmest/nicest day so far!  I heard it’s supposed to snow this weekend, but I don’t really care about that right now.  It’s warm right now and I am going to enjoy it!

It looks like the right people have gotten their hands on a picture of John Szczerbinski used for Junior Team USA purposes.  Someone found the picture and has posted it on Facebook and created a group for the picture.  The Facebook group can be found here.  Even big name bowlers like Chris Barnes are fans and he has commented, saying “probably not the first time he has had a ball(s) on his chin!”  Feel free to become a fan of the page and see how fast we can help make it grow!
